Open Horizons — Wall Art Print by Angela Hawkey
Open Horizons is a fine art print by Australian artist Angela Hawkey, reproduced from her original textured oil painting celebrating the colours and openness of the Australian countryside.
Distant blue and lavender ranges stretch beneath a soft, expansive sky, while warm terracotta, peach and ochre fields create a beautiful contrast against the rich greens of the foreground. Scattered native gum trees lead the eye through the landscape, giving the artwork a wonderful sense of distance, space and rural tranquillity.
The original artwork was painted with a palette knife, using generous layers of oil paint to create expressive trees, sweeping fields and richly textured details throughout the landscape. While the fine art print itself is not physically textured, it captures the shadows and highlights of the original raised paint, creating a beautiful illusion of texture and depth.
Open Horizons captures the peaceful character of the Australian landscape, balancing earthy country colours with cool blue ranges and lush native greens. Its relaxed palette and contemporary style make it a beautiful choice for modern Australian, country, coastal and contemporary interiors.
Each fine art print is made to order. Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for production and postage.
