Brisbane Affordable Art Fair — What a Weekend!

What an incredible few days at the Brisbane Affordable Art Fair! The weekend was filled with colour, conversations, lots of smiles and, best of all, so many happy new collectors taking artworks home.

One of my favourite parts of an art fair is getting to meet the people who connect with my work. So much of my time as an artist is spent quietly painting in the studio, so having the opportunity to step out from behind the easel and meet you in person is always something special.

It was wonderful hearing which paintings caught your eye, chatting about where they would hang in your homes and seeing the excitement when someone found their piece. Knowing that something I created will become part of your home and everyday life is a pretty lovely feeling.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, had a chat, purchased an artwork or simply spent some time looking through the collection. It was so amazing meeting you all and seeing so many familiar faces as well as lots of new ones.

And to all my new collectors — welcome! I hope your artwork brings you colour and happiness for many years to come.
