I took the opportunity to purchase 'Country 'Garden', a mini original artwork from Angela Hawkey @ahawkey via @greenhouseinteriors. I really love her work and my design style is mixing vintage with new. I think it sits well on my antique bookcase and it really brightens up the space. Choosing art can be difficult and I've found that sometimes you just need to let go and allow the art to speak to you. If it evokes something and you can't help but keep glancing back at it then that's a good place to start. My daughter loved this immediately and I find it calming and beautiful.

I felt nervous buying a painting online. How would I be able to truly feel the painting? Is it textured or one dimensional and flat? I opened the box which was beautifully wrapped and all my worries instantly disappeared. The colours are vibrant. The painting is so multi layered. It’s spectacular! Thanks Angela.
